Did you know our iconic Book Carts are popcorn carts from the Seattle World’s Fair? Seattle Parks and Recreation helped us repurpose them to sell our community donated books as well the books curated by the Friends of the Seattle Public Library. We are excited to welcome you back to the Park to find a new favorite book or perhaps an old classic at accessible prices. These sales help fund our programming as well as the work of the Friends.
Get book club ready with new and gently used books for $2-3 at the book carts in the main plaza. Book carts open on Monday through Friday from June to September. 12-2pm.
All Freeway Park Association events are free and open to the public.
