Freeway Park has a rich calendar of events and programs throughout the year. Our most successful and meaningful programs are produced through partnerships with our community. See details below on how to sponsor an existing event in the park or design and host your own event!

Sponsor or Host an Event

Sponsor an event

We invite you to become a Freeway Park Partner by supporting year-round programs and events in the park. We need financial event-support as well as donated goods and services.

Sponsorships provide special opportunities for organizations of all sizes and interests to reach the diverse community of Freeway Park users. We are interested in working with you to tailor a sponsorship benefits plan that aligns with your organization’s goals.

SPONSOR BENEFITS PACKAGE OPTIONS

  • Sponsor recognition on all event/program-related marketing materials including social media

  • Sponsor recognition on event signage

  • Sponsor table at events to display your products, services or marketing materials

  • Opportunity to create a volunteer opportunity for your employees/colleagues

FPA hosts a number of community events and we are always looking for donations for raffle prizes, food, garden supplies, art supplies and other services. If you or your business would like to get involved, we will add your logo to our partners page and all related marketing materials and all donations are tax deductible.

Design and Host Your Own Event in the Park:

Freeway Park is a public park owned and operated by Seattle Parks & Recreation. As an Urban Parks Partner with the City, the Freeway Park Association can help you create public programs that are meaningful to you and your community.

FPA CAN SUPPORT YOUR IDEAS WITH:

  • Park Use and/or Special Event Permits (required)

  • Expertise in event management

  • Marketing and outreach

  • Event equipment

  • Staff assistance

We encourage programs and events that create dynamic opportunities for communities to engage with Freeway Park’s unique landscape. Programs must also be open to all, safe and feasible according to operational capacity and infrastructure.

SOME IDEAS:

  • Art and cultural programming, such as art installations, film screenings, or live performances

  • Educational programming, such as presentations, workshops, walking tours

  • Active programming such as festivals, concerts, games and other recreational events

Event and program proposals are selected on a rolling basis and we encourage you to submit as early as possible. If your proposed program is a good fit, we will schedule a site visit. Programs are not final until a permit or license agreement is executed. All proposals must be submitted at least 30 days before the program or event would take place.
