Two Park Ambassadors
FPA has been a community steward to Freeway Park since 1994. In partnership with Seattle Parks & Recreation, FPA activates and advocates for Seattle’s most iconic downtown park. We design programs and services that meet the needs of all park users as we welcome everyone into our shared back-yard to create connections and experience art and nature in the heart of the city.
Our full-time staff is small so we offer opportunities to gig workers, artists and other professionals looking for unique experiences in a dynamic work environment.
Park Ambassadors - 2025
June - Sept | $23 per hour | Room to grow into permanent
The Freeway Park Association (FPA) seeks outgoing, compassionate people to join our team as summer ambassadors. The Park Ambassador will greet park visitors, set up daily park activations, and facilitate special programs and events. This position will start out as a temporary position with the potential to grow into a permanent position with associated benefits. Two positions available. Ambassadors will typically work together and share job responsibilities. (Schedule varies +/- 30 hours per week to start. $23/hr)
